« Heïata is so pretty that she was selected to become the muse of the black pearl of Tahiti. “My father comes from the Austral Islands,” she explained to me. “His grandmother was half Chilean and half German, I think, while my mother’s grandfather was a Frenchman of the Jewish faith… So you see, I’m a pure Tahitian!”
